In 1987, Maria Drattell started her own business in the NYC Garment District as an independent sales agent for newly emerging designers, eventually moving on to become a sales director for the iconic fashion house of Valentino.

Maria’s family relocated from New York City to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2022 and, together with her son Julius Moreno and daughter-in-law MJ, opened m.DRATTELL— a women’s clothing shop located at Center1 in the Brookside neighborhood of Midtown Tulsa.

m.DRATTELL stocks a curated selection of narrowly distributed yet highly sought-after American, European and Japanese designers.

The shop carries brands that are exceptional in both aesthetic and ethos— brands who work with small fabric mills, employ top pattern-makers and seamstresses, and pay living wages.
