LOLA HATS

Lola Hats began in December 1989 in a small storefront in New York’s East Village and has since expanded to a large studio in Bushwick with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. Lola, born in Holland and raised in Paris, became a New Yorker at heart. She learned hat-making at the Fashion Institute of Technology while serving as Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Knitting. Inspired by the craftsmanship of basket weavers, glassblowers, and people restoring ivory piano keys, Lola’s handmade hats are crafted with love and expertise in Brooklyn by a dedicated team including Maryam, Angeles, Regina, and Miki.
