LAUREN MANOOGIAN

Founded in 2016 by Lily Atherton Hanbury and Katya Shyfrin, Le Monde Béryl takes inspiration from the traditional Venetian gondolier slipper, as well as the ballerina shoe and riding boot. Hand-finished in Italy by master artisans using traditional techniques, their shoes are sustainably produced. As this pair of designers came from backgrounds in gemology and jewelry, the brand’s name reflects a family of gemstones, and this diverse color palette directly influences the hues of their footwear designs.
